I’m Off

So as you’re reading this, I’m headed?to Omaha to begin the 11-week PHP, MySQL, and WordPress course offered by The Interface Web School and?which is?sponsored by Flywheel. I’m so excited I can’t wait to get there. I’m going to have to introduce myself as Hermione Granger as I’ve packed along some “light reading” (on PHP/MySQL)?and will be sorely disappointed if “tests” are cancelled as well.

I’m still a bit in shock that this is really happening. Five weeks ago this wasn’t even a thought. The speed at which this has come together just blows my mind. Everywhere I turned I got support, from family, from friends, and especially from those 77 people who supported my GoFundMe campaign. 77 people!! That’s a whole room full of people pulling for me and wishing the best for me. Still trying to internalize that. Apparently, this was meant to be.

There are only a handful of moments in life where you can place a dot and say “turning point” or “before/after” and even fewer when you know it at the time. Today, however, is one of those days. What’s the phrase? “Living the dream?” Because it all is a bit of a dream come true.

Have I mentioned that I’ve never been to Omaha before?
